They're probably sold here, but I've not noticed anything un usual about it. Also if they're the poorest ones, they are doing quite well.
Well here they are one of the best selling book series ever. What do you mean they are doing quite well they can't survive off the food they are given so they have to hunt and they have no money.
Oh please they are doing fine, they have shelter and food. How do you think Africa is doing whilst Katniss is bitching about how hard life is in America/district 12. Thats another thing i don't like about The Hunger games trilogy, the author never mentions anything about anyone outside America. I wanna know what the situation in Europe, Asia and Africa is like but no never mentioned.
You know at least its something new! Sure it was similar to various things, but it wasn't like a sequel.
Catching Fire is already set to come out next year. Personally, I hope they catch more of the political climate, as that's what the second book is partially set around, but I'm a nerd who hopes too much 8)
I think he's trying to get the attention of Hello! Magazine :O but seriously, after reading the copy of the Hunger Games I bought my sister for her birthday (she obviously had finished it first) I agree with him, it isn't the best by any means.
Also who the fuck names one of the main characters Peeta? I just couldn't take his character seriously with a name like that.
I was being sarcastic. I assume you were as well. though he puts up good points. just wasnt a book that he enjoyed. I personally enjoyed it alot. to each there own
I heard a few of my friends talking about it, and they were thrilled. From what I heard, I don't think I would find it that good of a movie.
Books were better, 1st was best, then tie between 2nd and 3rd. Movie was good, felt rushed to action and then there was little action. But in the end, it was fine.
My post is just a model of how everyone fucking reviews anything these days: "The [insert thing here] was good. Here was some bad stuff about it. But it was still good."
I thought the movie was nothing special the story was ok and the acting good I guess, the action scenes sucked though. Whoever directed it used that shaky camera bullshit were you can't see a damn thing, I hate that and don't understand why every other movie seems to go for that style.
Iguess it's because they wanted the film to be pg 13 so they couldn't show the killing of kids directly.
Well apparently it was the director's idea and I heard he is not directing the next two so the shaky camera.
