Which is why I said L.A. No, I've never seen that used for L.A. except for online when people are to lazy to type it correctly.... Perhaps you shouldn't be so quick to judge the "yurotrash" when someone who's posts you constantly agree with stereotypes Europeans much more viciously.
I wasn't freaking saying anything about the spelling. I already said I was referring to how messed up la is. Or L.A. I have no idea what the last part of your post said.
@Karakoran LA was founded in 1741, Lousinia became a state in 1814, seems legit. Also that whole ghettos and projects comment was false, Ghettos are neighborhoods that contain projects in them. Projects are goverment provided residency, and you get welfare when you live them It's impossible to be poor in a ghetto, because food stamps, and welfare provide a standard of living. Both of you get your facts straight.
Hating the rich is a type of discrimination, as homophobia or racism. It is called classism, and many people don´t about it. You hate people because of a certain aspect in their lifes: they have a different color of skin, a different nationality, a different culture, or in this case, a different financial status.
No shit, Sherlock. We've spent the last 5 pages arguing over whether or not it's justified. Not if it constitutes hate.
Lol. But technically it isn't discrimination untill you treat them diffrently, and seeing as you cannot be rich against your will, i wouldnt say it is like racial discrimintaion, or any of the other types you specified
You can technically be rich against your will. If you are born to a rich family and hate it, you are rich against your will until you are old enough to do anything about ur. Although I don't know why a kid would hate being rich.
Because he is smart enough to know that he is rich for no merit, and there arempoor kids who are poor outside of their doing. But this is an exception and i wasn't talking about kids. But point taken
Well often this happens and the kids grow up and run off somewhere else and cut themselves off from the family money. They sometimes come back though. Its like finding yourself or something.
And while we're here, why is it that I only ever seem to hear words like "classism" thrown around when the rich are the victims in the equation?
Don't you know? Classism doesn't exist! But right now you're being very classist against the masters, so I'll make an exception.
@Kali I had a reply, but I lost it when my internet disconected. So, yeah, I really can't be arsed doing that again.
Wrong. This is the problem with you reds. You always think that labor and workers are synonymous, and treat them both as divine. Labor is awful and workers are wasted on work. No, you're obviously envious of the wealthy. You would abandon all of this red nonsense in a heartbeat for the right amount of money. Again, labor =/= workers. Solid argument. Chives pointed out that C_G had extended civilization's history far longer than it's been around, in a sort of "reverse creationist" manner. It's a valid point. Yet again with your mono-directional progress. Internationalism is hotly debated even by academia, who are generally speaking the most idealistic group on the planet. Yeah, definitely buying that garbage. Is there any evidence at all for your ridiculous assertion? It's fine if the hungry are fed and sick are healed and the ignorant are educated. Whatever. Just don't expect me to sacrifice anything of my own for the sake of the hungry and the sick and the ignorant who live across the globe or a century from now. To me, they're nothing more than a vague idea, and I'm not willing to give up my happiness for the sake of a vague idea. No it doesn't, and in any case what's that got to do with what I said? The idea that we can support an infinitely expanding population forever is retarded. Earth does not have the capacity to maintain our current standard of living forever, and certainly not if we start uplifting the downtrodden. Death checks are unpleasant, but they're natural and necessary. Better them than us, and since we're going to be kicking around we might as well get the leg up on the competition. People starving across the planet has no impact on my life or happiness, nor does it yours, so stop with the pretentious, self-righteous crusading and come back to reality.
You really need evidence to know that if you have the chance you are expected to help someone? Also, how the hell do you expect society to function without workers? If you decide to tell me that you didn't say that, then what the hell did, "Labor is awful and workers are wasted on work" mean? And how is labor supposed to get done without workers? The workers do labor, they go hand in hand.
