Work can be automated, and everybody will then be upper class since robot slaves will make everything for everybody.

And thus communism is achieved, and no-one is rich. And everyone will be happy.

Well, you can wait a couple hundred years so we can build several billion working robots, as for me, I'm not holding my breath.

Do you believe you would be happier if I gave you $20 million dollars right now?

You wouldn't? Bullshit. Just because "money doesnt buy happiness" or whatever doesn't mean someone is immoral for liking or wanting money.

I am certain I would not be happier. For I time I would be excited, but after I buying a car, a big house and a private jet I would not have more true happiness than I do now.

Just as meaningless as a huge house you haven't earned.

    I would. Most people would.
Edit: You know what's better than a house I earned? A house I didn't even have to earn.

Then you would be a shallow and undeserving person. Also with few real friends.

What about all the people trying to get money off you? And your friends and colleagues feeling it's unfair? It would place a big burden on you to do the right thing with the money, either buying your parents a house or your cousin an education, or giving it to charity or whatever.

That wouldn't bother me. If I was feeling altruistic I'd help people out, but I don't feel like I have an obligation to do so.

Well then, I guess that's fine for you.

Personally, I would feel the need to help people with my money, so it would as much a burden as anything.
