Yeah so card that's what I've been doing for the past two days or so. I usually don't like anime but it was really good.
It was okay, I tend to drift more to Case closed when it comes to detective anime's, I have only seen the pilot of Haruhi, Is it that good? I might pick it up again.
It's not a detective anime. Also the pilot is 6 episodes long (7, if you count episode 0 as part of it) so it probably doesn't make as much sense or seem nearly as exciting based on the first episode alone.
I watched both and I really enjoyed the movie (which has confirmed a season 3 due to popularity) but Endless Eight was just unbearable. At first I was like, hmm, this is an interesting concept. Then I got to the fourth loop, and was like, okay, maybe a bit too drawn out here. After hearing Kyon talk about how weird it was to see Nagato acting lonely by the pool for the 5th time I gave up and started skipping.
Nobody calls it that. And apparently the Light Novels will end soon, which is probably not a bad thing. I'd rather it ended on a high note than drag out for a stupid amount of time.
It's only natural. Anime isn't really possible to dislike, as it's not an actual genre so much as an artistic medium. Though I suppose you could dislike that medium; it's just hard to think that there's nothing out there that would appeal to you. Generally speaking I don't like anime either, but there are a few that I enjoy.
I'm not saying all anime is horrible, because they generally have decent plots that I could see would appeal to some people, but as you said, it's the artistic medium that I find less appealing. I guess it's just me.
