I love how you act like:
1.) Sly wasn't the only one
2.) Sly doesn't fully support Kali
    3.) It wasn't just a joke

I don't really think that necessary. A user can message one of the mods and they can see if it was deleted. Or they could ask in the thread why their posts were deleted. And then the mods can answer. But I'm pretty sure the mods delete a lot of posts, and I really don't want productive discussions clogged up with "I deleted so and so's post because it was ______".
    Not really.

I can see which posts have been deleted, and as far as I've seen, one hundred percent of them were deleted by the person who posted it.

Which is why I said "I'm pretty sure". And if that's so, then there is even less of a reason to post a reason because its not a problem in the first place.

Meh, a few posts, mostly due to double-posting. But I have always stated that so far. Don't know about others, though.

If you feel that a member of staff is abusing their powers then who do you call? No, not Ghostbusters... Stalin of course.

Little known fact, Stalin actually runs the Ghostbusters on the side.

You can only see posts that have been deleted from view. When posts are deleted there are two ways to do it, one which retains the post and allows it to be resubmitted, and the other which permanently and completely deletes a post, even from the vision of other moderators.

Yeah, 'cause we totally do that regularly. Could you give me proof? Examples?

The point is that you can't give proof of this. It's deleted. The only record is kept in the mod's log but it only tells you that a mod deleted a post, it doesn't tell you what post or what the post said.

Yes but in your experience, did mods do this often? Or was it a very rare and unimportant thing?

Probably about 40% of deletion was permanent.

Well, as long as there can't be any proof, we can't be proven guilty, and it's foolish to just assume that it is that way without any proof.
Any way to back those numbers up? Or are they just a very high estimation?

Well I know for a fact that it can be done, and has been done in the past. I doubt anything changed when I left.
    My experience as a moderator.

Of course it can and has been done. But do you have any proof it happens regularly, without any reasons?

40%? Then you should really reconsider, 'cause 40% is way too high, in my experience as a moderator.

Well it can never have an assigned reason. It doesn't come with a text box you can fill with a reason. And even if it did, it would delete all reference to the post, making it pointless. I never said it happens regularly, either. The point of my post was to inform Chives that all posts he can see that have been deleted are the product of the temporary deletion tool. There is another option that removes all trace of a post, and if not with regularity, has been used by the staff in the past. Multi-post deletion has to be done permanently, and I doubt that pedro went around deleting four pages of spam by hand.
