I don't think that this should be the place to discuss it.

This is why we can't have nice things. But at least something was done.

Now can everyone be happy? Or do you all need friend Leon to give your egos a sensual massage as well? Can the bitching stop?

Either way, at least this can usher in some new talking points for the Tribunes. Transparency has been on the list for far too long, with no progress.

And in the end it was not the Tribunes who got this passed, it was the modship (and Ronald).

Judging by the general reaction that everyone is saying I would assume that Ler posted something and then when correct went around removed and freaked out, am I correct?

    So no blame to kali.

Proving yet again, how much we really need the Tribune.....utter sarcasm on my end.

Again, more people who have a clear history of being very anti-Ler and being very biased. I take all of your guys word with roughly a grain of salt.

Again Kali, stop glorifying yourself. Do it Elsewhere.

Please enlighten me, how is opposing an idea bad??

You guys just get an excuse for something as trivial as post deleting to attack Ler, and that's called harassing.

    Yuri is right.

One strike for Kali, one strike for Ronald Raygun.

To summarize, Ler did not support the transparency proposal and made a post in the most recent transparency topic about it. Then, when it became clear that the measure would be passed and his post would become public, Ler decided to use his moderation powers to permanently delete the post. Of course all of the mods and Ronald saw the post beforehand, so while we can never release the contents of the post itself, we can definitely prove that it did exist and that Ler did delete it.

Say what you will, but let's not dilute the issue. I'm pretty sure everyone has bias.and if Kali had done this, there would have be similar action taken, I assume. No matter what you think of Kali, Ronald, or even me, this certainly isn't a two dimensional issue, and I would advise no one to take it as such. Or, everyone could just stop the incessant bickering and admit that I am numero uno overlord of everything. Whatever suits you. I would advise the latter though. I am coooool.

People delete messages all the time. Messages have even been deleted in this thread by the poster and it wasn't Ler. In the end, Ler's post was not attacking transparency, rather offering a different method. Deleting it would have actually helped it be passed, yet Kali chooses to make a big issue out of it.

Alright, you're the number one overlord. Now overthrow Spencer and dissolve the modship.

Isn't it strange that just about only people who were severely anti Comrade Ler were the ones to break the news?

    Hmm...

I'd like to refer everybody to my post on the first page. I've given my reasons, and there is no reason to comment any further.

Opposing an idea certainly isn't bad. An elected representative trying to cover up his opposition to a legislative proposal on the other hand, well that's bad. There's no excuse for what Ler did and your apology on his behalf is totally irrational.

Jesus Christ Kali, have this conversation elsewhere. You can spout how much you hate Comrade Ler and how much better you think you are then him. ELSEWHERE. It's bad enough you made an entire thread to glorify yourself, but now this?

Yawn. Let's all run in circles and draw lines in the sand again. Accepting me as G-d is so much easier. Why bicker when you can have only one?

If you guys can't tell, I'm telling you to build a golden statue of me.

I agree with matt about the first part. Building a golden statue is out of the question.
