    Because Lenin was never villeiniced and was killed off before other rose to power and many view this well "Lenin would have done a better job" or what have you. So the greatest thing to happen to Lenin in order to keep political opinion on him positive and strong was his early death.

    It is an ignorant thing to hate people because of their nationality and it is different from hating the country itself. I may hate Iran for example but I don't hate all Iranians. It's the same as hating someone because of their race, gender, or sexual orientation.
