What are you listening to now?

Its all the same to me, I don't like the sound they make with their voices. I haven't seen enough variety in the genre.

I know very little about Avenged Sevenfold, but they always tour with really awful rock bands. I know that their older music is core garbage, but people say their newer music is metal. However, I just listened to the title track from their newest album.

I can definitely say this is not metal. Either way, it has nothing to do with how "mainstream" they are.

Either folk or melodeath

Ensiferum or Insomnium, but if Time is as good as it should be, my answer will probably change to Wintersun.

Folk and melodeath are usually what I listen to. Well both Ensiferum and Wintersun have albums coming out this year so well see which one is best.

Oh and got to ask what is your opinion on core music?

It is the only kind of music that I completely despise.

On that we can agree. What I hate more then the music its self is the fans.

Alot of people in my old school loved it, I detested all of them equally.

I just hate how they think there "metal" or how they are superior. Also swinging there arms in the mosh is annoying.
