Since last I've posted here I've completed Hidamari Sketch, Baccano!, and am almost done with Another. Hidamari Sketch was excellent as a slice-of-life comedy, particularly because of its art style. Baccano! was pretty great, but especially great were Isaac and Miria. Another is pretty genuinely creepy but also very interesting, and reminds me a lot of Higurashi. Except in Another, repairmen, janitors, and groundskeepers simply don't exist, and literally anything can rust, crack, and be covered in vegetation.
Are you watching anything this season? There's quite a lot of good shows airing and most are only done with one episode at this point. It's better than last season, at least.
I don't even know what's airing this season aside from fate/zero and possibly Hidamari season four. Generally speaking I don't like watching things as they're being aired because there's a significant and unpredictable delay between fansub releases. What exactly is new and good this time around?
Space Brothers is the series that stands out. It has a fantastic OST and a pretty interesting story. It's kind of like Planetes in a sense and it is worth watching, and that's only 2 episodes in. Also, there's Zetman. Action/horror. From the looks of it, it's going to be entertaining. Also, Polar Bear Cafe. Absolutely fucking hilarious slice of life. Plus Korean Zombie as extra ecchi shit that's relatively entertaining.
Saw Korean Zombie Desk Car, Oreimo, and Mysterious Girlfriend X. All of them are pretty hilarious, especially season 2 of Korean Zombie.
Where do you guys go to watch all these anime? Or do you just download all of them? How do you find new ones?
Generally speaking I download things, but for streaming purposes I use Netflix or go to a site like animeratio or animeseason. Downloading is just all around superior, though, and for that I'd recommend animesenshi and the typical torrent sites.
fate/zero is fucking amazing. The production value of the series is undoubtedly the highest I've ever seen, and the overall level of maturity is positively wonderful compared to its predecessor/sequel (which was good in its own right). Might be best anime of 2012. But seriously, dat animation quality:
Does anybody know a good anime forum to post in? I've been meaning to find one that isn't full of wapanese retards like Gaia, Mal, or ANN
Nope. I don't know if there is such a place, since a community founded by autistic weaboos is bound to be full of autistic weaboos. I've certainly never seen an anime board that isn't full of queergendered basement-dwelling neckbeards.
