I really really enjoyed high school of the dead, but the big breast girls are actually really annoying. . .
I'm currently watching "Death Note, Gurren Lagann, D-Grayman, Robotech, Basilisk, Hetalia, And School Rumble" And what about Ya'll?
The only one that I liked out of that list was Death Note. I dropped it after a while though, I only liked seeing Light slowly drift into becoming a psychopath. Gurren Lagann is shit except for ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWAH and Hetalia has a terrible fanbase but it's still one of the only funny animu out there. That being said, I'm currently watching Mushishi and have to say that it's among the best that I've watched, though it can be a bit boring.
It was shounen so I instantly assume that it's bad. Plus the story was uninteresting and excessive fanservice with Yoko. The fightscenes were good, though, but I just didn't like the blend of the story and the action. I don't really like mecha either.
*Puts on Argument Pants* Kay, First off Simon was a great character, Yoko was their not because of her "Looks" but to enhance the feeling of the group, She was incredibly voluptuous but I mean c'mon at least she wasn't brainless, you can even relate to her in a sense. When Kamina died I feel that story really started, I mean they displayed it pretty well with Simon, but one guy angsting it up is not entertaining, It started the growth of the character Simon. also The story and the action blended perfectly You see it (I assume) as a story about revolution, when its really about a kid being thrusted into a position not only he didn't want (at first) but couldn't handle the stress. it wasn't about the human revolution it was about Simon, As per your dislike of Mecha, we all have our opinions. please continue in telling me what other anime you are watching.
The story is all a matter of personal opinion, from the way I see it, but I guess I'm engineered towards deep stories that get you asking questions. I didn't see that much in TTGL. But Kamina's death was perfectly orchestrated and out of the blue, so I agree that it was a great example of a turning point in the story. Apart from that, as I said, I didn't think of it all that interesting. Enough of the argument about plot, however. As for what other I'm watching, I just finished watching Steins;Gate and apart from that I haven't really watched anything else over the past few days. Got a few in my backlog that I'll eventually get round to watching, like Akagi.
Erm... Pokemon Digimon Yu-Gi-Oh I pretty much stopped watching these after their first few seasons. Still have love for Pokemon though. In terms of other animes... I just don't have the time to watch them all... or any series for that matter though I did watch Elfen Lied and loved it. Beyond that, either I have never watched it, or forgot it because it never made a great enough impression. Some of these sound interesting though. I could use some good suggestions.
Probably my favorite anime are, in no particular order: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Paranoia Agent The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Lucky Star (watched it once, thought it sucked, watched some more after TMOHS and it was a lot better) FLCL Cowboy Bebop Death Note (ehh, sometimes, anyways) Neon Genesis Evangelion I'm watching Berserk now, and it's pretty good, but DAMN is it 90s.
