I added High school of the dead to Netflix and watched the first episode, Lots of fanservice.... but its interesting very interesting
I've seen the entire series it is awesome with lots of gore and zombie killing but maybe a little too much fan service. Don't watch the OVA it's 100% fan service.
OVA? In netflix there are 12 episodes, is that all of them or am I going to have to search for the rest?
There's 12 episodes and 1 OVA. There's no point in watching the OVA. Just wait until they get enough done with the manga to make a new season.
Original Video Animation it was like the original concept of the anime. Sometimes though it's like an extra on the series also are you watching that terrible dubbed version or the awesome subbed one. The OVA for this is just a whole lot of fan service with nudity and hallucinations.
Then I advise you not to watch it on Netflix the dub is terrible it doesn't even look or sound professional.
Okay... I don't care about the voices, but if you recommend not to watch it on Netflix can you tell me where else I can find it.
No they don't. The only exception is Hetalia, which is only tolerable because I'm not supposed to take it seriously and the dub is hilarious. If only it didn't have a retarded fanbase.
I like http://www.animeavenue.net/highschool-of-the-dead-episode-1/. They have been reliable the times I used it. @Toast Someone has obviously never watched Ouran subbed and dubbed the Japanese voices are crap compared to the Americans. Spice and Wolf is also the most amazing dub I have ever heard.
No they are for people who don't want to waste bandwidth downloading the torrents and also for some reason I can't find any episode past 7 in 1080p on that site. Black Lagoon is still awesome.
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be wasting that much bandwidth downloading anime, seeing as I watch one series over a month. As long as you don't download ridiculous shit from Coalgirls who put up literally more than 100GB in a single torrent.
Dubs aren't bad and neither is streaming. Only some dubs are bad; most of them make the show more watchable or in some cases legitimately better (Lucky Star comes to mind).
