Again, China and Russia are only there protecting their interests.
    If either:
    A) the world guarentees them their interests in the aftermath
    or
    B) world pressure come to harm them on other fronts
then they would certainly allow for a UN resolution that allows for the invasion of Syria. Just don't expect them to vote for it or help.

So to summarize this, No one wants Al Assad in power (Syrians) but the U.N is unwilling to do anything to get rid of him as thus it will stay like it is.

Posting twice in a row without allowing another person to post before you post again.
It is against the forums rules and by far one of the more enforced rules.
If you have to add to your last post and no-one has posted yet, use the 'edit' button located at the bottom of each of your posts.

I'd say just let the assad Regime whimper out and die.

In my opinion, Assad isn't being harsh enough. Compared to his father, he's a wimp.

Yeah, slaughtering your own people with military grade weaponry just isn't good enough. People who support no action are guarenteeing the death's of thousands, and we just can't allow that to happen.

Protest all you want, but as soon it gets to the streets, it is my problem.. -Muommar Gaddafi.

The "rebels" are the ones that should just stop.

And why should they even protest if no one can see or hear them?

You're almost as dumb as Che. I guess people should just give up their discrepancies and go back to leading their shit lives then.

The people in Libya did not have shit lives, they had a very smart leader a despot but smart nonetheless, the best standards in Africa, a Socialized society.

It were "rebels" who just wanted more than normal life under the Gaddafi regime, to trade for democracy? Power grabs? They had a content way of life already.

As for Syria, I cannot say the same but if there those who support the Assad regime still then one should question the rebels view and pro government view.

The last part is a fair point, but that still doesn't give the right of one group to systematically slaughter the other. It would be like Obama rounding up all the republicans and dropping bombs on them after the 08 election.

Aside from that, it's my contention that individual liberties and the right to be able to openly express yourself and shape your own destiny are far more important then some sort of arbitrary societal construct. It's one thing if a group of people consents to a certain way of life, but this wasn't a social compact entered into by consenting parties. Ghadafi forced, in many cases through threat of violence, people into his beliefs, which can never be justified.
