The only winning move is not to play. Unfortunately.

That's a little too pacifistic for me. We should just nuke em'. Nuking people is the answer to everything.

Yeah I have but if his government falls it will make the entire region extreme unstable, worse then what it is now.

I doubt it would be worse then having entire swathes of civilians killed by artillery bombardments.

I honestly reckon that if Assad goes, Syria will be another Iraq or Lybia. I know in Lybia it is a lot different compared to Syria or Iraq, but the same thing will happen where more people will be killed after the man in charge is gone.

I believe the government is bluffing. The bombardment of civilian areas continue. Ths shooting at protesters continue. A fraudulent constitunional referendum was made. Now they say there is going to be elections in May, which are probably going to be fraudulent and will serve as a trick for the rebels to stop fighting. Only througth the intervention of U.N. military forces and international observers this transition can be made.

The Assad family controlls Syria since the 60´s and they will do anything to stay in power.

Imprisoned in a vile barbaric caliphate.
Nothing should be done. It's blatantly obvious that all the groups involved in this entire "Arab spring" have been Muslim brotherhood or Al Quaeda affiliates. They intend to establish a caliphate with Sharia law and a policy of war against western civilization and Israel. Egypt was an ally who our president allowed us to lose in order to appease Islam. People blindly believe these people are aboput democracy but fail to see whats happened in countries like Egypt and Libya after these revolutions. Instead we should be focusing on Iran who is a true threat and is developing nukes as we speak.
