Looks like a nazi uniform (either that or those things on the collar are more widespread than I thought), those guys were nasty but they sure had some kickass imagery.

Most people don't really know uniforms that well.

I can't say I care enough about uniforms to know. I just recognized that insignia on the collar from the typical pop culture image of nazi uniforms.
I suppose they kept using them in East Germany, hence the misunderstanding

Definately East German - easiest way to tell is the lighter colour, I think. I'm guessing the hat is from the Luftwaffe (also former DDR). The pin badge is communist, right? If you don't look closely, it could be a Nazi Party member's badge. Damn I want one of those. I would get round to buying myself a DDR uniform (I actually saw two in a H&M window display in the Bullring once), but it might not be taken too well. I'll stick with my flecktarn jacket for now, although my normal 'look' tends to involve a suit. So, if anyone's read this far, I think what i'm trying to say is (any) German uniform = very cool

To be honest I don’t really approve of the Germans constantly censoring historical games to pretend the Nazis didn’t happen, but I can understand that they wouldn’t want everything from German culture being referred to as Nazi before German so let’s try not to do that. Though I do also have a WW2 German remake jacket, it has the SS logo on it and the swastika Im not sure what kind of uniform its meant to be seeing is it has both an aeroplane and a tank insignia on it but hey, it was a good find! :mrgreen:

Lol, I do so love being a nerd, being able to identify different branches of the German armed forces (sort of). I think what everyone really wants to see though is Stalin's collection of Soviet stuff

Not that much. Still, with a little plastic surgery he'd be a perfect body double if Stalin will ever need one.
