I believe because most people speak this language and thus it brings more fame to the singers? Maybe thats just my opinion, but true singers dont care about fame or money.
I don't think English is such a good language for singing. Dutch and German are just as good. Not French, though. French is an ugly language.
French is not a good language to sing in? You have obviously never been to an Opera. You sing mostly in Italian, FRENCH or Russian. And it sounds damn good in all the languages.
Agreed. While I personally utterly despise opera, French isn't a very bad language to sing. It might just be the music that usually goes with it, but Dutch really isn't too great either. Again, that's probably because of idiots like Frans Bauer and De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig.
Which one? There are a few on the last few pages. Also, my internet is being dodgy right now, so videos are loading very slowly...sometimes. It's weird. Can't wait to get a room on the campus and its 1 Gbit/s internet <3
It was sort of what I expected: kinda generic background music, and as with all Dutch songs, the lyrics sound kinda whiny, and as if they're written by a kindergartner. I mean, it isn't bad, and kinda catchy, but really, anyone could come up with it. It might just be that I have very high expectations, or am used to paster paced music, but this isn't something I'd listen to all day.
Im sorry Lad but the Dutch/Swedish make the best House music.Tiesto,Chuckie,Afrojack,Laidback Like and the new star Hardwell.Im going to say the Dutch make th best music atm. Correct me if your not talking about electronic
I think your problem is that you only listen to the radio, it's really easy for me to find music I like.
Why is it getting funnier after each laugh while it's just the same f*cking thing over, over, and over AGAIN!
No, I'm not talking about electronic music. Once, I've been to this concert of this guy called Ricky Rivaro, and it was fucking awful. The guy was just standing there, apparently playing his music (He kept touching the board thingy, but seriously, everyone knew he just hit "start" and didn't have to do anything else. That sort of music isn't meant for concerts, just keep it in those crappy dance clubs if you want to play it in public) while some ass was standing behind him with a microphone shouting the same bullshit all over again. The music itself was very meh as well, it's usually very repetitive, and when there's "singing", it's usually a few random words whispered by a female autotune. While from time to time I listen to a few electric songs, I'd never, ever call any song the best ever. Heck, for me, the best music comes from the UK and US.
