The seventies was an amazing decade for music, even if there were too many hippies around.

Well I think the decline came with the record companies signing contracts with shitty artists. Now it's all pop stars and rappers. The only rockers I ever hear about is Weezer and The Rolling Stones. When people start realizing that the stuff they are listening to is utter garbage, I think we'll see a rise of good songs and bands.

Not all bands are horrible, there are just so few of them. I expect a rise of good bands coming in this decade.

No it isn't. That is why there is only one famous reggae musician. I listen to reggae bands, but I have to admit that there are hardly any good ones.

well reggae isn't for every one. I however enjoy reggae and to some extent reggae dancehall. There are plenty of good reggae bands and musicians. Although there are not so many people who play "classic reggae", riddims are far more common.
If you want i can send you a reggae list, with awesome reggae classic and the new stuff.

While indeed it's pretty nice to listen to from time to time, I really couldn't name any Reggae artists in particular...

That's silly. Reggae had quite an influence on ska and jazz and other similar genres. To just denounce all of it as "shit" isn't wise.

Dude, will you please stop using cancer in every quasi-Dutch sentence you make? I think it's pretty damn insulting.

Aren't the Dutch the only people who use it in insults?

Pretty much... I can't name languages that use cancer or other deceases as insults...
