Yes, and I think it's stupid, not funny, not tough, and just insulting. And Toast used it, again, in his post.

I'm demonstrating my understanding of the language. I've noticed that Dutch people always say "cheeseburger", too, so I always add "cheeseburger" into my Dutch sentence.

Dutch, by far, has the most powerful insults. You can't call anybody "cancer" in the English language.

Cheeseburger? Never heard that before in any Dutch sentence...

It sure has powerful insults. But is that a good thing? No. Can you please stop using "kanker" in your sentences? It's pretty insulting, even if not meant seriously.

I think it's a reference to Dutch cheese...

No man, Dutch people don't have a unique word for "cheeseburger", like French people. Have you seen Pulp Fiction? I think that covers French burgers adequately.

Reggae is awesome, although the newer music revolves allot around the legalizsation of marijuana. The soothing slow beats are slightly amped up to be more like hiphop but still beeing noticeable as reggae. I assume that what you guys reffer to as reggae is actually roots witch isn't as popular today (Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Jhon Holt, and Gregory Isaacs are the most famouse reggae roots artists and arer still popular today but there arn't so many new artists that are as good. )

"Burger" in Dutch means something like "citizen" rather than "people"...

Pretty sure it isn't. Overall, we mainly use "hamburger" for all kinds of burgers.
As for the insults, the Dutch are known for being quite straight to the point, and expect others to be as well. Therefore, the Dutch seem quite rude to foreigners, and misunderstand them because they don't always get subtleties.

I think the Dutch should be more polite. Sometimes people just swear and curse 'cause... they find it funny, or something.

I personally couldn't be arsed, really. As for polite, it's really about definition. As long as people aren't directly being assholes, then by all means, go ahead.

Music today would have sold much more then any other abnd/artist from the 60-90's if there was no music piracy but that doesn't mean the music today is better. The club music today is awesome and musch better than it was back in the days much better
