    @everyone This is a thread about what consuisness is and if we are the only ones with it! Not a discussion if Christianity is a lie (wich it is), so let's get back to the subject of this thread.

    I thought I gave some incites into consciousnesses. It's General of Cartage's fault who somehow manages to turn every thread he posts in into a surrogate issue for his religious views. He's gotten quite good at it.

    A. You called me stupid yet you spelled Carthage wrong
    B. Christians are not stupid because they believe in God, I could very well call you stupid for not believing in God.
    C. Do you have evidence to support that Christianity is a lie?

    @The Evil Major Ok, sorry.

    I don't think it would have gotten that many if I hadn't made that mistake.

    If you can think you don't have a consciousness then you do have consciousness

    I recommend starting this thread over, but either way here's my opinion:

    I think our consciousness is largely the result of all our bodily systems working together, but I think for sentience to exist there has to be something else. I don't believe in a god or an afterlife, but I do believe in a soul. Not like a personality-imprint sort of thing, just . . . . . .I dunno. I'm currently a little interested in pansentience, or panexperientialism, but I only know enough about it to say its basic idea is "all matter holds some glimmer of sentience."

    It's not hard to troll a forum virtually full of atheists.

    No one fucking knows and those that pretend to know don't know themselves. And we probably never will know. What is with people asking these impossible questions?

    Or maybe its the denial of atheists to even look at Christian ideas?
    Hell, if you were open to input (as anyone asking a question should be) you'd be willing to consider the theory that God is behind consciousness.
