    Protestantism is way more different then Catholicism then orriginaly hoped for, a better example would be Catholic and Orthodox.

    Speaking of Catholic, My teacher made a interesting comparison about the elements of polytheism in the christian church and doctrine.

    The Norse pantheon is the one I like the most of the polytheist belief systems. And I also find the Egyptian pantheon very interesting.

    As mundane as it may be, Thor is my favorite of the Norse gods. I sport no preferences within the Egyptian system.

    As great as Tyr is, Thor would win. At the Ragnarok Thor only dies after defeating the world serpent from being poisoned by it during the fight. Tyr meets his death from a dog.

    I love you and Tyr is killed by the guard dog of hell (Garmr) and Thor will fight the world serpent (Jormungandr) before taking 9 paces and dying (9 seems to be an important number to the Nordics)
