Possibly Israel, possibly a Spanish-speaking country, possibly the country of London. It doesn't seems likely Texas won't be a nation if the USA collapses.
Canada, not just because it's close to the US, but because I believe with many of the economic/political views there, plus generally speaking people in Canada are much more polite.
You dont give our farming/ranching/oill and natural gas industries enough credit... i mean comeone texas supplies a huge chunk of us food/energy, so if we can supply chunk of nation that size i think we can supply enough for nation our size where would i go: republic of texas if were not so lucky mexico or canada. prolly canada since mexico would be getting shot at by drug cartel or mexican goverment..
One would think that Napoleon would return to his home nation of Italy.[/quote:mcc84czd] But Corsica is no Italian land.
But Corsica is no Italian land.[/quote:1727z4ld] Corsica may part of the Republic of France, but it is still Italian. Just like how in America, Hawaii may be part of the US, but it is still in the Pacific, not America.

Corsica nowadays isn't populated by italians anymore, in Napoleon's days it was. Also the term "Italia" that the romans used, didn't include Transalpine Gaul (Lombardia), Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily, only the mainland from Genoa and Venice to the south tip of the Peninsula. So technically speaking, Corsica is not an "Italian" island.
