To crush the bourgeoisie by grinding them between the millstones of taxation and inflation.

How so? Pirating inflates the prices of said things, which leads to more pirating, which leads to the increase of inflation, which leads to more pirating, etc etc.

You are overthinking this and oversimplifying it at the same time. Good job.

Sometimes I - they are just too lazy to drive to Bestbuy to buy a game that may or may not suck terribly... Alpha Protocol comes to mind.

I've actually written an entire essay on how illegal piracy is actually good for the music industry, and the music consumers. You have to remember that there are 2 sides to every arguement, and a lot of people have found a very convincing side downloading music illegally. google it.

To me, the music industry's firm hold on the illegality of copying/pirating CD music is reminiscent of certain countries trying to hang on to coal as the primary means of fuelling their nation; it's going to have a big impact to just let change occur, but there is really no alternative.

Because the music artists that I listen to really don't care where I get my music from, so long as I enjoy it. I only pirate games from large companies, and my R4 is now broken so I don't even do that.

Im proud to have never illegally downloaded a game. But music is a different story with frostwire considering its not illegal.

Frostwire is just like LimeWire. Illegal. My friend actually downloaded a file that was labeled as a song from there once that said "WARNING MP3 DOWNLOADS ARE ILLEGAL".

It's a p2p network like limewire, but with a lot less users, so therefore much shittier as there are less songs and less downloads available.
Although, I don't see why you'd use PB for music. Not necessary.

Considering most modern music is utter trash, I would not mind for a second to illegally download it. Although I do buy older albums like SRV's Texas Flood.

People that say this are just as bad as the people they think have bad taste. You're the just the opposite end of the spectrum. They're a ton of good music being made. It might not be as popular as some other songs, but it's out there.
