Questions for the libertarians: would role do you think government should play? What restrictions on corporations would there be? What services would be public? Do you think that preferring private power over public ownership is anti-democratic?

Ah this is a question best left for my Libertarian teacher, which we have the most interesting debates she calles me a delusional Proletariat and I call her a slave to the bourgeois and then we laugh talk about how much we hate china and how best to help Africa out before getting into another debate.

I should ask her these questions, in between the debates (Sersly she is the worst republican ever in terms of following mainstreme republican traditions like pro-life and anti-gay and anti-evolution)

Didn't you know? "There would be no corporations!".

Naturally anyone with an understanding of the death of desentrilized agrarian society and how that relates to the shaping of modern day big business can see the flaw in their plan.

My teacher is a Republican and we talked about Piracy the other day he really made some good points and that's when I realized not all republicans are stupid.

No not all Republicans are stupid well at least the ones who follow Classical conservatism at least.

Though the best thing that happened in the class was the teacher was asked what her views we're on economics.

Teacher " Oh i am a supporter laissez-faire capitalism and I think Ronald Reagan was the best president ever *looks at me and smiles and *laughs*"
    Me " Oh fuck you..........*laughs*"

I I don't like ron paul, but I don't like this poll. What the hell is a conservative? A conservative what? That doesn't mean anything. A conservative like a capitalist, or a religious fundamentalist? Or a social democrat? Hell, in Russia a conservative could be a communist! I hate that word. And conservative is not necessarily the opposite of liberal, btw.

You can say any president was just a puppet of the government and their campaign supporters.

I would vote for a republican candidate for the hope that they don't ramp up the debt and the hope of a new tax system.

I´m back, people, and this is my first reply of my return.

Ron Paul is amazing because his ideas are so revolutionary for the US. Even the republicans and Fox News dislike him. Everyone is against him. But even, he is able to gather many people to support him because of those ideas.

End the wars, legalize drugs, end the FED... Who the hell does not want that?

I would support him over the other candidates if it mattered. But it doesn't, guess what will happen when he gets into power? Lobbyists will drive there loads of money to white house and make him another Obama.

How the hell is following a literal interpretation of the constitution, to the letter, "revolutionary"?

In no way does that make him a revolutionary. Constitutionalist is the word you're looking for.

I'm still curious as to if he can cause any changes to the fundamentals of the republican party.
