Guys sorry for request, but I will really like if any of you could find some pictures of Yugoslavian partisans in WWII. Thank you in advance.
Looking at these pictures really makes you open your eyes. I've been to a number of these places, and I had to compare and contrast in my mind. Warsaw was nearly wiped off the face of the earth during the war. Here's the old town of Warsaw in 1945, and here it is in a picture I took in 2009, just a few yards from that same spot. Today it's a cool place to get beer and some chow and people watch. Despite all the death and destruction, it is a testament to human resilience that cities like Coventry, Rotterdam, Cologne, Hamburg, Munich, Dresden, Berlin, Wroclaw, Warsaw, Gdansk, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Manila, etc...were all rebuilt. Also, for all the war's wrath, we contemporaries should feel lucky that Paris, Rome, Prague, Krakow and Kyoto were spared, despite the enormous destruction around them.

The best thing ever would be an alternate history were poland survives the nazi invasion and goes on to occupy East Germany and the Baltic States...
Hey guys, I made a video of hundreds of photos during WW2 with music. Check it it out and please read description for more info, thanks. PS. Watch in full screen 720p [yt:25jw4w3z]ZPRhtwClZ18[/yt:25jw4w3z]
Dude, the poles would be scarier then shit!!! strongest army and navy in the world, the make Russia, Germany's Poland... Germany's their Lithuania, and France is still France.
And Poland wins. well that wouldn't be that bad since Poland has like a 99.8% literacy rate. so SWEET! Their Literacy rate goes up above 100% when the new Socialist government takes over, making the babies in the womb read books about quantum physics. There just hardcore like that.
Every time I look at pictures from the past especially pictures of soldiers I always think to my self, I wonder what their thinking and I wonder if they made it out of the War alive.
