The use of a red flag in socialist countries is meant to be a symbol of unity between socialists around the world, and a symbol of defiance against nationalism/national culture. Although we aren't necessarily anti culture, we believe in the idea that an international proletarian culture, should be the dominant force behind any socialist nation/movement. Any form of national flag simply promotes nationalism, which is why we don't all have unique multicolored flags.
