Oh. Well you are still ruining people's lives by eating chocolate, and wearing clothes and jewelry. You know, a few more things to haunt your conscience.

I'm sure if enough people started walking around naked, cops would just give up. What are they gonna do? Force clothes onto you? Then you can just scream "rape!".

    It's win-win.

I mostly wear second hand clothes given to me by various acquaintances, for example the suit I'm wearing in this picture used to belong to my neighbour's (deceased) husband. On the rare occasions I actually buy clothes I make sure they aren't made in some poor country we're taking advantage of.

Though I have to say, that naked revolution sounds like a better idea now.

That was so fucking funny I cried laughing and my face is numb. Do it again.[/quote:eug25sfq]
Under no circumstance would I press it, unless my life was threatened, and maybe not even then.
In fact, most people would probably agree with me.
On a related note, out of curiosity, do you have any kind of mental or personality disorder?

That's pretty dumb. You'll get it when you're older.

I'm pretty sure this thread disproves that little theory. You and Yuri practically stand alone here.

Was that intended to be some kind of insult? Are you trying to prove something? Like, was that supposed to lead up to some case against me?
No, no I do not. Yes, I know, hard to believe that not all realists are insane. In fact, if I were lower than I am, I might accuse you of being insane.

Well, I think Link pretty much nailed it, age difference or not. I don't know your circumstances, but I have dealed with death a lot, and I can confidently say I would not press the button unless it was me or my families welfare at risk. And if it was just me, I would not press it. A human life has no monetary value, and no matter how you perceive the actual cycle of things, a premature death is a sad day indeed, no matter the persons circumstances. So, if you think people are insane for understanding the value of a human life, that's pretty sad. I would say that 99% of people in the world's lives are more important than mine, and I would gladly stick my neck out for them.

I am naive when dealing with death. I won't deny that nobody I have ever known personally has died prematurely. Well, not somebody that was close to me, anyway. But I will stick to my answer, and the "Western luxuries" analogy. And I only made the "insane" comment because I felt Link had insulted me. Because he was acting like a little bitch. But I am inclined to trust your judgement, as you have more experience with the matter than me. But I still say the "Not even if my life depended on it" statement is pretty dumb.

Well, I say I would risk my life for another, primarily because there is a chance it might be a child or a mother. My purpose in life has been 80% filled. I have got married, have twins on the way, given my family financial freedom, and am extremely satisfied and at peace with my religious beliefs. My only purpose from now on is protecting my family and rearing my children, and that is a job another could fill. However, some people might not have had such a fulfilling life, and I would sacrifice my own for the chance that someone may get all those things as opposed to dying for my own personal benefit. As for death, there isn't much to say. I have been around it a lot, and I value human life above all else.

Theoretical question here, why do you value Human Life? After all, we're just the result sum of a billion year accident called Life.

You had already insulted me, and at least I was somewhat subtle about it. In other words, go fuck yourself.
