    Maybe you have an incompatible graphics driver. I know OpenGL doesn't work with some chipsets.

    Yea. On my last attempt it made it past he loading screen, but appeared to be having a hard time rendering.

    Plan B: Lower the fucking graphical settings.

    I think you have to download the Catalyst Control Centre as part of a driver package or something. What graphics card do you have?
