As the title says, which moments come to mind when you think of PC games. I remember when I introduced my friend to Doomsday, he was a noob at it. So when we played against each other on Fall Blau he had learned fast enough to achieve a Soviet Marginal victory, my most shameful moment as I got too cocky once more when it came to my friend.
Shouting at the screen when I won a battle on Medieval 2 Total War with 10 survivors all with double gold chevrons and the computer crashed. It was a long battle.
In HoI II, Kaiserreich. Playing as Russia, having the seccond civil war occure, my nabours declare war on my ass, most of my territory rebels, Moscow and St. Petersburs is beseiged by various forces. Though we were beseiged, I DO NOT GIVE IN TO BARBARIANS FROM THE CAUCUSES, CENTRAL ASIA, SIBERIA, MONGOLIA, OR THOSE BOLSHEVIKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I regrouped with the 35 or so free divisions east of Moscow (my capital was St. Petersburs so they were supplied by ship) and moved westwards after Japan puppets Siberia and makes peace with me, I defeat the Don Cossaks beseiging Moscow to the east, liberate 15 or so divisions and just try to defeat the Bolsheviks. I finally get a proper docterine which goves me the edge against the Bolsheviks and they surender after months of brutal fighting. I inherit all of their troops and move southward to recapture lost territory and then conqur the North Caucus. Then, I drive to defeat the central Asian states. Now, it was off to defeat Siberian and Japan! The fight for Siberia began in early 1938. By 1947, I was in Tokyo proposing unconditional surrender... THAT...was my finest hour! I will draw a map. Purple Line=farthest Siberian Advance Black=Don Cosaks Blue=central Asian nations Red=Farthest Bolshevik Advance Green X=Russian army initial positions (before counterattack) Green arrows=russian Army advance. This was my finnest hour!

HK-47 asking me if massacring an entire Sith enclave would be impressive...he's still my favourite video game character of all time.
Ah good old HK, never was there a more awesome robot. My favorite PC gaming moment was the first time I ever beat a Total War game. It was the first Shogun and I won as the Uesugi clan. That first campaign forever made me fall in love with the Total War series and now it is Shogun 2 time. Good memories.
My finest hour was forming the Holy Roman Empire in EUIII: HTTT only to have over-extension and France declare war on me. I turned against the rebels first, letting France stay bogged down on my Western Provinces. I slashed through them, and built a road to Paris on the bodies of fallen Frenchmen and Rebels. I took out huge swaths of French land, and asserted dominance over Central Europe. Unfortunatly, I lost the save when I went to Divine Wind. Although I had another great hour HoI2 when I overran almost everything in Europe as France. I swear, I took everything from France to Romania. I plan on finishing that save later, I'll let you know when I do. Only reason I ever stopped on it was because of the tons of decent I got from conquering country after country. But it wont be long before I go against the USSR, America, and eventually the UK.
Empire Total war. Was playing as Prussia won a battle with 500 Prussia grenadiers against 2500 Austrians. It was one of the longest battles I had ever played in a Total war game. If I didn't have my one cannon and if the enemy didn't come as single Army then Berlin would have fallen. I think at the end I had 30 Prussians left not one of my units retreated that battle. :cry: They went above and beyond the call of duty and I was proud to lead then. I think I saluted my screen after that battle. :lol:
I just spent the past two days finally playing through the Half Life 2 episodes, and I think every single moment was memorable. I forgot how fantastic Half Life 2 was.
Ya, HL is one of the best series ever. I think Episode 3 or Half-Life 3 is coming out this year. I just know I'm going to have an orgasm when it happens. (I'd laugh if I turned out to be the first one to say orgasm on the forums.) Edit: I'm so claiming title of first to say orgasm until proven wrong.
Playing Anno 1404 when your trying to hold out against Cardanal Lucius's forces and I fought extremly hard and held them off for like an hour and then when i finally finished the chapter and my town collapsed with troops marching through it and fires raging everywhere and the enemy assaulting my walls, i was pissed when i learned you were supposed to lose anyways. :x LOL
