Picture it, you have barricaded yourself in your room playing computer games for a full week. You wake up on an 8th day and head downstairs, a thunderstorm rages outside and wind batters your house. You collapse onto the sofa, eyes red from copious amounts of gaming, you turn on your television. You blink. Again. You pinch yourself. You ask yourself if you are delusional. But, no. There on the screen is a news headline screaming COUNTRY WIDE ZOMBIE OUTBREAK: 45% OF COUNTRY EFFECTED, EXPECTED TO RISE. You freeze, realising the reality of the situation that you and everyone you have ever known is. You plan for the future... what do you do?
Go to my basement and get all my guns and ammo, bring the ton of stored up food i have, put it all in my truck, bring my dog, drive to my camp in the woods(100 acres of owned land,where theres barely anybody for hundreds of miles and i have tons more guns and ammo, 2 generators, atvs, and a bulldozer.), then use my extensive experience in hunting to get food, fish by the very close river, and enjoy the good life.
Find a kitchen knife...or some sort of weapon...look outside from the window, if theres not many infected il go outside find a gun or somthing,,and try to find surviers i know

Realistically I would barricade my doors and windows and such and make do with what I currently have, keep up-to-date with the news if possible and hope for some military intervention. Eventually food and water will run out, so I will have to go outside to get some though I'm not sure if I'd be that brave considering the closest thing I have to a lethal weapon besides knives and such is a the butt of a rifle replica. That or I could collaborate with my neighbors and seal off the whole building (I live in an apartment).

I would get my guns and ammo out of my gun cabinat. Then get all the food I have and put it into the back of my hummer. I would then get my brother to drive our ATV out into the wilderness at a pre defined location with our dad and a few guns and ammo. Have my mom jump into the hummer with our animals and stack up on any necessities I may need in the future and drive out to said location. I can then hunt and fish out in the wilderness for my life. If food runs short and I cant catch or find anything to eat we would us the ATV to raid abandoned houses and fend of people who may attempt to harm us to stock up on supplies. We would try to get as many people we trust to the camp as possible and friends we may make on the way to help make a well defended fortish place to live. Hopefully since I live in Iowa I could befriend a farming family and get their stuff so we can harvest our own food. Like in colorado if anything or anyone came close to 100 yards of our farm/fort we would fire once to the side for a warning. If they dont back off we shoot to kill. Hopefully their will be a lack of raiders and such in the area so we wont end up fighting for our lives too much but in the event their was we'd get some of our rifles and hunt them down. Zombies wouldnt really be the problem unless they have all the special kinds from L4D and such which I doubt. The problem would be getting food and dealing with the highly degraded society and such.
I would order 50 treadmills and sunlight generators plug in the treadmills around my house put them on fast speed, open windows and laugh as they try to get in = Win..... *euurrrhrh* *slips* eeuurrrghghh* slips*
