    The difference is that if somebody insults you're ideology you choose to be insulted by it. Rather than if somebody were to directly insult you as a person.

    That is true, although he was at least attempting to make the communist of the forum pissed off.....although that's easy to do in truth.


    Personally, I think Kali will one day snap and go on a hate rant on why all communist need to be put to death and there ideologies exterminated.

    So your evidence against him is a troll post? If we started taking action against or banning people for trolling I'm pretty sure at least 1/2 of you in this thread would be gone. Until we have a code of conduct for Mods (which we don't) it wouldn't really be right to punish Kali for anything. I believe we should hold ourselves to a higher standard, but there's nothing forcing him too.

    Basically whats been our precedent for personal insults is it has to be something extreme. Calling someone an idiot in the heat of a debate is generally okay, but calling someone fucking retarted out of the blue is not. Kali has never personally insulted someone, and despite the fact that he gets reported every time he says something negative about communism has never committed hate speech. There is a difference between disagreeing with an ideology and hate speech or personal insults. You guys complain that he voices a negative opinion about communism, but you never bat an eye when a communist says the same types of things against capitalists. Communists have called all capitalists dumb or living under a false consciousness and that's fine, that's there opinion. However, that opinion is equally as "insulting" as Kali calling the communist ideology dumb or morally reprehensible.
